American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has said that genuine acts of kindness and thoughtfulness are far more attractive in a man than wealth or luxury possessions.
Speaking in a recent video circulating on social media, Lopez dismissed the notion that expensive cars, designer watches or private jets are what women value most in a partner.
According to the award-winning entertainer, while gifts can be appreciated, they are not what truly defines attractiveness.
“We don’t need anybody to buy us anything. We don’t. We want them to, sometimes that’s nice,” she said.
Lopez added that material possessions may be appealing but insisted they are not the qualities that leave a lasting impression.
“You know what makes a man really attractive? It’s not the watch, it’s not the car, it’s not the private jet, it really isn’t. Although that’s nice!” she said with a laugh.
The singer explained that simple gestures, such as helping with household chores, demonstrate care and consideration, making them far more meaningful.
“It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning, or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night. That’s what’s sexy.”
She concluded by encouraging people to value kindness and acts of service over displays of wealth.
“Now that’s what I call sexy!” Lopez said.
