The prosecutor, Inspector Sunday Bassey, told the court that the defendant committed the alleged offences on March 31 at No. 7a, Dotun Osunkoya St., Ketu, Lagos.

He alleged that the defendant fraudulently obtained N2,390,000 through his GTBank account from the complainant, Mrs Adetola Lawal, under the false pretence of renting a mini flat to her.

He said the defendant failed to rent the mini flat to the complainant but converted the money to his personal use.
