Man Stabs Mother To Death In Kano

A fifty-year-old mother, Hajara Muhammad has been stabbed to death by her biological son, Ibrahim Musa aged 22.

The state police command public relations officer, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, revealed this yesterday.

The woman according to the police was certified dead by medical experts at the Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Specialists Hospital, Kano after the body with multiple injuries was recovered from the scene of the incident in a pool of her blood.

Reports revealed that the incident took place around 6pm yesterday at Rimin Kebbe Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano, while the suspect fled and is currently on the run.

Earlier, the state commissioner of police, Mohammed Usaini Gumel,  directed the immediate deployment of all police assets to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book as soon as possible.

A knife with blood stain, suspected to have been used in the attack was recovered at the scene. Tactical teams are currently on the ground to ensure the arrest of the culprits.
