Popular Master Compere, Mcray Victor, is giving back to the society through his Mcgraysgeng Project Feed 1000, a charity initiative aimed at tackling poverty through the provision of food stuff to many in rural areas.
Mcray who is known for his dynamic stage presence and witty humour said giving back to the society and making a positive impact are essential to his craft.
“I am always looking for ways to make a positive impact. I started with the Mcraysgeng and our goal is to provide raw meals for 1000 people in remote areas. It was first achieved in December 2021.”
The Edo indigene, born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, has a passion for cheering up people. He began his career as a voice-over artiste and On-air-Personality (OAP), with Eko FM on Daniel the Love Doctor show, while simultaneously anchoring school dinners and organizing comedy shows.
With over ten years’ experience in the entertainment industry, Mcray has established himself as one of the most sought after and versatile master comperes in the country. He draws his inspiration from trailblazer comedians like Alibaba, IK Osakioduwa, MC Abbey among others.
Mcray believes more emphasis should be placed on the training and professional development of master comperes in Events sector.
“This is a constantly evolving industry, and its important for us to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques. More training programmes and workshops would help to ensure that MCs are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to provide the best possible service to their clients.”
The Mcraysgeng Project Feed 1000 will hold December 2023.
