Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has charged Muslim Ummah in the state to embrace the essence of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad, saying his birth is suitable for all mankind.

Adeleke, in a statement by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, congratulated Muslims in the state and beyond on the symbolic moment that the birth of Prophet Muhammad signifies and reminded them to take cognisance of the noble example of peace and hope that the Holy Prophet reflects.

He emphasised strict adherence to the message of compassion and kindness that the life and teaching of Prophet Muhammad embodied, noting that his government remains committed to initiatives and interventions that will lessen the pains of the moment and ensure a better tomorrow.

Also, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Omooba Dotun Babayemi, enjoined Muslims across the country to always follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the betterment of humanity and the nation.

Babayemi, in a statement made available by his media office in Osogbo, asserted that following the teachings of the holy prophet became expedient because of the beneficial tenets inherent in them.
