Mavin Records has taken a significant step in promoting positive change through impactful activities centred on mentorship and the creation of worthy role models.

The theme ‘Positive Role Models’ was a call to action for men to step up and be agents of change in their communities.

Tega Oghenejobo, president and chief Operating Officer of Mavin Records, stated, “By creating avenues for men to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another, we hope to foster a culture of growth, responsibility, and empowerment.”

“As we celebrate Men’s Day, we want to emphasise the importance of mentorship and the impact that positive role models can have on shaping the next generation of leaders. We hope the conversations do not end here,” he added.

According to the company’s management, this effort provided avenues for personal growth, meaningful connections, and the promotion of good role models across various sectors.

Kicking off the series of activities lined up for the months with a visit to Ikoyi Prison, the team, in collaboration with talented artist- Magixx and legal NGO Gavel, gave provisions to the inmates and engaged with the Public Relations Officer to learn about the challenges within Nigeria’s justice system.

The team also committed to helping free over 50 inmates with bailable offences.

As part of the activities to celebrate the historic day, Mavin Global played host to Native Records in a novelty football match conceived to foster camaraderie and encourage positive male bonding,
