May 1: NAPPS Tasks Federal Gov’t To Prioritise Workers’ Welfare, Good Governance

As Nigeria marks the milestone celebration of Workers’ Day, the President, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Samira Jibir, has called on the Federal Government to prioritise security and guarantee welfare packages to Nigerians workers across the country.

Jibir, while congratulating Nigerian workers nationwide, said the nation was facing security and economic challenges, calling on workers to keep safe and keep upholding the integrity of labour for nation development.

She reiterated that the greatest asset of a nation is its workforce.

She called on the government to put in place stronger mechanisms and strategies to curb insecurity and create better working environments for workers in the country, adding that this will ensure maximum productivity of the workforce.

Jibir said NAPPS members will continue to partner with government to ensure that their sacrifices and services for the nation in the education sector were improved and more impactful as they pray for unbiased collaboration, cooperation and understanding.
