Enugu State governor, Mr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has nominated six individuals as commissioners and forwarded their names to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation.
This was contained in a statement isued yesterday by the secretary to the state government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia.
The commissioner‑nominees are: Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh, Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli, Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna, Dr Samuel Ogbu‑Nwobodo, Prof. George Ugwu, Ben Collins Ndu Jr.
“The names have been transmitted to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation,” Onyia said.
In a separate development, Mbah has also approved the appointment of Dr Godwin Anigbo, mni, as the Head of Service of Enugu State.
“This appointment takes effect immediately,” the statement added.
