Some parts of Lagos State were yesterday grounded as a result of the 5-million man walk organised by the chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo, in support of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

The ex-chairman of the Lagos State’s chapter of National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW) led different groups who converged on Teslim Stadium and National Stadium, Surulere and attracted Nollywood stars, led by Saidi Balogun, adorning different colours of insignia bearing Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu.

They defied the heavy rain on Sunday and started the march with a large crowd at the Teslim Balogun Stadium and terminated at Oshodi.

Armed security personnel, led by Nigeria Police, Department of State Service, Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps among others, provided protection and security for residents and participants.

During the rally, two Fuji musicians, Sulaimon Adio, popularly known as Atawewe and Sulaimon Adekunle Alao popularly known as Malaika joined to show their solidarity for the APC presidential candidate.
