Media Entrepreneur Applauded For Youth Initiatives In Bauchi

A Dubai-based media entrepreneur and founder of ANJID LLC, Hussein Yahaya Ibraheem, has been commended for his sustained efforts in youth empowerment and social intervention, particularly in underserved communities in Nigeria.

In a statement, the management of ANJID LLC noted that through the organisation, Ibraheem had positioned the media outfit not only as a commercial enterprise but also as a tool for youth development, advocacy and social mobilisation.

The management added that since formally beginning his professional journey in 2015, his work had increasingly aligned with initiatives aimed at equipping young people with resources, support systems and pathways for economic participation.

“Much of this focus became more pronounced in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when young people and low-income households were disproportionately affected, Ibraheem coordinated large-scale relief efforts, overseeing the distribution of more than 100 truckloads of food supplies to vulnerable communities.

The intervention provided immediate support while laying the groundwork for broader youth-focused recovery programmes.

“In the post-pandemic period, attention shifted toward long-term empowerment. According to figures associated with the initiative, more than 40,000 youths across Nigeria’s North-East region have benefitted from programmes centred on capacity building, social support, and community resilience. These efforts have targeted regions where conflict, unemployment and limited access to opportunity continue to shape youth outcomes.

“Development observers note that such privately led interventions are increasingly significant, particularly as young people face structural barriers to employment and skills acquisition. Ibraheem’s approach, they say, reflects a growing trend of diaspora-driven initiatives that blend media influence with grassroots impac,” it said.
