American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has officially ended her relationship with Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson, citing a lack of trust and fidelity as the reasons for the split.
The 31-year-old singer announced in a public statement on Saturday, April 26, ending months of speculation about the couple’s status. Megan emphasised that trust and respect are essential values for her in any partnership and stated that she is now prioritising her own peace and clarity.
Shortly before the official statement, the Mamushi singer shared her frustration on Instagram Story. In a series of posts, she appeared to accuse Thompson of cheating and failing to commit to a monogamous relationship, despite her support during his basketball season and his difficult mood swings.
The couple first went public with their romance in July 2025 during the Pete and Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City.
At the time, Megan described their meeting as a “movie,” while Thompson praised the rapper as a special person who inspired many around the world.
