A Duchess of Sussex fan on April 23 shared a message from Meghan Markle on Instagram, according to PEOPLE. In the message, Meghan spoke about marriage rather than planning a wedding.
In her homily, she was addressing a bride-to-be just before her wedding. The video appeared to have been recorded during her recent trip to Australia with her husband, Prince Harry.
“Ellie, I’m here with your dad. I just wanted to say congratulations on your wedding. Enjoy the wedding, but it’s more about the marriage. Have a wonderful, beautiful marriage and a lifetime of love. Sending you love all over the world. Your dad is awesome,” the video clip showed Meghan saying to the bride-to-be before blowing a kiss to the camera.
Meghan and Harry married in 2018 and will mark their forthcoming anniversary on May 19.
The royal ceremony took place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. In attendance were the late Queen Elizabeth, Harry’s father, King Charles III, and his brother and sister-in-law, Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate.
Harry and Meghan both share two children, Archie and Lilibet.
