Celebrated Nigerian entrepreneur-missionary, Melody Fidel Okwuazu, has won The Future Awards Africa Prize for ‘Service To Young People’ in the 17th edition held in Lagos recently.
At a spectacular event on October 22 this year at the Balmoral Hall of Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, Melody Fidel was announced winner of the coveted Prize acknowledging his enormous contributions towards uplifting the status of African youths.
The Future Awards Africa Prize for Service to Young People, which recognises people who empower the next generations, has Melody Fidel Okwuazu and Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, as the only two nominees.
According to Melody, winning the Prize For Service To Young People at the just-concluded The Future Awards Africa was an amazing milestone in his over a decade career of championing the spirit of entrepreneurship, skills monetisation and youth empowerment across Nigeria and beyond.
“For over a decade and counting, I have continuously championed the cause for entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, tech skills training and monetization for hundreds of thousands of youths across Nigeria, Africa and the United Kingdom,” Melody explained.
He continued that, “I am very much excited by winning The Future Awards Africa Prize For Service To Young People. It is an important motivation for me as I continue to dedicate my life, time and resources in building platforms and pathways to uplift young people and help them realise their life goals.”
The Future Awards Africa, Africa’s biggest youth celebration now in its 17th year, continuously honour exceptional young people in Africa who have contributed remarkably to the development of the continent and its people in every calendar year.
This year, The Future Awards Africa, with the theme, “Defying Odds, Inspiring Greatness,” celebrated 128 nominees in 25 different categories, all of whom were recognised as outstanding champions in their respective fields.
