The worship song from his third studio album “The Trio and I” is a deeply moving piece, a cry of gratitude and appreciation of one intensely aware of his flaws, realising that he is very much loved regardless of them, by a deeply faithful God, who never ceases to wait and welcome his sons and daughters who return to him.

Hear the lyrics: “You know me more than anyone, Father, you know me, You chose to die for me. Nobody can love me like you. Unashamed that’s how your love is, Battered by life, yet you didn’t leave, Jesus, you held me, You didn’t leave me, Ooh you held me by your hand. You know my darkest past, And my untamed resolves, Father, you held me, Jesus, you love me, Oh you chose to carry me.”

The singer’s video concept – of a father teaching his son how to play the piano, is simple but symbolic. As the father sits side by side with the son, and they plunk the notes on the piano together, he patiently guides him through the notes of a song, his gaze and gesture encouraging, even when the son makes a mistake. Similarly, God never leaves us alone, despite our weaknesses. He unconditionally loves us, bids us to come to him as we are and forgives us when we turn back to him.

At the end of the video, we see the father embrace the son—a scene that corresponds with the lyrics: “This is my letter, This is my letter to you, God, Father, please read it. I know you really care. You are more than just a friend.”

Released earlier this year by EeZee Conceptz, the song continuously resonates with the minister’s newer fans.

He, however, came into limelight in 2020, with the ‘All That Matters’, a song in his 12-track debut album titled ‘The Message’.

His second album, ‘To Yahweh’s Delight’, was released in April 2022. He is married with a wife and a daughter.
