Kyari stressed the importance of collaboration to uphold set standards for quality and quantity of agricultural products.

He urged the association to sell only certified and approved products sourced from registered input producers. The minister also highlighted the need for the association to develop policies and programs to combat product adulteration, recognising the pivotal role of marketers as the face of the government in this sector.

The minister further charged the association to promote best agronomic practices among farmers and ensure the proper utilisation of inputs for maximum productivity.
