Irate youths in Agirgba community of Vandiekya local government area of Benue State yesterday burnt to death a man who was caught with stolen electric cables and hospital equipment.

“They told me that the man was caught by youths with electric cables used in wiring the clinic and other hospital equipment and on sighting them someone on motorcycle started the bike and fled while the man was caught and set ablaze.

“The clinic was built by our son to assist his community in accessing affordable healthcare following the absence of a health facility in the area to stop the challenge of sick persons trekking long distances before accessing medication.

Police spokesman Catherine Anene said she was yet to receive information on the incident.
