Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, and socialite and music promoter, Sam Larry, have been spotted in public for the first time since their release from Police custody after their arrest over alleged links to the death of singer Promise IleriOluwa Aloba, a.k.a Mohbad
The singer was arrested in October alongside Sam Larry, following allegations of their involvement in the death of former Marlian Records signee, Mohbad.
A video was posted on TitTok capturing Naira Marley and Sam Larry accompanied by Marlian Records signee, Zinoleesky. In the video, all three men can be seen laughing and throwing up hand signs as they pose for the camera, moments before getting into a waiting car.
This is coming days after a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted the Marlian Music boss and Sam Larry bail in the sum of N20 million.
Naira Marley, Sam Larry and two others were arraigned on October 6 and remanded over their alleged involvement in the death of Mohbad.
The Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, on Monday, November 6, ordered the duo to submit their international passports as part of their bail conditions.
Olatunbosun also ordered them to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
Reactions have since trailed the video of Sam Larry and Naira Marley’s first public appearance with many disinterested in their release and optimistic that Mohbad will get justice.
