Mojeed’s reappointment to serve on the board will keep him a member of the WFPMA for another two years. His reappointment was announced at the WFPMA’s annual general meeting, which was recently held in Dubai.

Mojeed, an alumnus of the prestigious Yale School of Management, is also the Vice President of the African HR Confederation (AHRC) and the CEO and global head of Practice at Bezaleel Consulting Group. A graduate of Political Science from the University of Lagos, he holds an MSc. in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the same university.

At the AGM, the president of the Singapore Human Resource Institute, Ms Peck Kem Low, also made history as the first Singaporean and the second woman in WFPMA’s history to hold the position of the WFPMA president.

As WFPMA president, Ms Low will lead the development and implementation of the federation’s strategic and operational plans. Her responsibilities include strengthening the global HR profession, facilitating research, and promoting the adoption of progressive international HR standards.

In a personal note on LinkedIn, Ms Low expressed her appreciation to the HR community for their continued support and confidence in her leadership. “It is an honour to serve as president of WFPMA. I’m deeply grateful for the trust placed in me by the global HR community.

More than a personal achievement, this reflects how far Singapore has come as a nation in contributing to the global HR agenda. I hope my contributions in the next two years will place Singapore firmly on the world map as a champion of inclusive, progressive, and human-centric people practices.”

The World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA) is a global network of 90 national people management associations, collectively representing more than 660,000 HR professionals worldwide. The federation advances the profession through knowledge exchange, policy influence, and global collaboration.
