MoMo PSB in partnership with MTN Foundation’s Y’ellopreneurs, organised a forum to educate female entrepreneurs on how to succeed in their chosen businesses.
The forum had female business owners, MoMo agents and industry experts in attendance.
It also included a fireside chat with MTN Foundation executive secretary, Odunayo Sanya; Group Chief Operating officer, RedSlate Group; Nkiru Oguadinma, and the Chief Operating officer, MoMo PSB, Elsa Muzzolini, to discuss the theme: ‘Unlocking Business growth through Digital Platforms.’
Odunayo Sanya highlighted the importance of data as a key component to improve business growth through digital platforms, while encouraging all business owners present to pay attention to numbers.
“It is possible to have all the social and digital platforms for your business and still find it difficult to grow; however, when you have data at your disposal, you can easily deliver value and make critical business decisions,” she added.
Also speaking on how entrepreneurs can leverage digital platforms, Nkiru Oguadinma encouraged participants to understand how different digital platforms work and how each of the platforms can be leveraged to help grow their businesses.
She stated that, “it is important as business owners to have a digital mindset as well as a growth mindset. The digital space is a level playing ground for everybody and there are a lot of opportunities for everyone there.”
