He said such acts promotes peace in the country.

Oba Kasali gave the advice at the presentation of food items to sweepers in the service of Lagos Waste Management Agency as Christmas gifts by a non -governmental organisation, PEPC Foundation at Igbogbo Stadium.

The monarch commended the group for its initiative to rhelp the needy and vulnerable in the society.

He said the gesture should be emulated by those in affluence  to give succour to the needy because the economic situation makes it difficult for some families to feed, adding that the gesture should not be limited to only Yuletide period alone but should be a regular thing.
