The United Kingdom Government and its partners on Tuesday earmarked a whopping £20 million (N10.88bn) to improve girls’ education in Nigeria and Bangladesh. This contribution was made to celebrate International Women’s Day that was observed on Tuesday, March 8.
On the program today we will look at how Nigeria can leverage this opportunity to support projects that will provide the necessary skills needed by the girls to find work in key sectors such as technology and manufacturing in order to breach the gender gap in this sector.
