Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has identified Ivory Coast, Morocco, Mali, and Senegal as the four teams to watch at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Nigerian international, who came on as a second-half substitute in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Benin last week Thursday, stated this in a chat with the Football Fans Tribe.

Recall that Morocco is the host for next year’s tournament, while Ivory Coast is the reigning AFCON champions.

“There’s a lot of good teams. Morocco, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Mali. When it comes to Africa football you cannot underestimate any team,” Boniface told Football Fans Tribe.

“Everyone is good, so we’re looking forward to it.”

“I was having my childhood friend from Nigeria coming to visit. So we were supposed to pick them at the airport,” he explained.

“I was sleeping and my other friend was driving. When I woke up, we were already spinning three times. But we thank God, just a little scar on my forehead and stitches. The most important thing for me is life.”
