MTN Nigeria Adopts Customer-Centric Approach For Growth

MTN Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to providing authentic subscriber experiences, prioritising customer-centric innovation and digital empowerment.

Through its Customer Engagement Day (CED) initiative, MTN Nigeria engaged with customers, gathering feedback and insights to improve services and meet evolving needs.

From immersive tech demos to authentic conversations with MTN’s leadership, the event provided an unforgettable experience for hundreds of in-person attendees and thousands more online. The event featured fireside chats, data literacy sessions, a startup pitch challenge, speed mentorship with industry leaders, and interactive lounges exploring MoMo PSB, MTN’s fintech subsidiary, content creation, and future technologies.

The chief executive officer of MTN Nigeria, Dr. Karl Toriola, said, “We have invested heavily to build a network that delivers value for money. While data in Nigeria remains among the most affordable globally, our priority is quality and consistency, which truly power ambition. Today is about transparency: answering your questions, listening to your concerns, and showing that MTN is not just a service provider, we are a partner in your journey.”

 

The chief operating officer of MTN Nigeria, Ayham Moussa, emphasised the depth of MTN’s commitment, saying, “When MTN began, it was built by people like you; engineers, entrepreneurs, everyday Nigerians. Today, we connect over 80 million people, and our focus remains simple: to stand with you in your hustle, support your ambitions and make life easier. This journey is about listening, improving daily, and protecting homes and businesses across Nigeria.”

 

MTN Nigeria’s chief customer relations and experience officer, Ugonwa Nwoye, encouraged smarter data habits and reaffirmed MTN’s commitment to transparency, adding that “we know how essential data is; it is how we live, work, and connect.
