Subscribers of MTN services have decried poor service in Jega Community of Kebbi State.

In an open letter to MTN Nigeria by a resident in the area, Abubakar Na’amare Jega (Majikran Jega), a copy of which was obtained by LEADERSHIP Weekend in Birnin Kebbi on Friday, he expressed worry over persistent emergency service functionality and frequent disruptions.

“This issue is causing significant losses to local traders and business people who rely on uninterrupted communication for their daily commercial activities and interaction with partners,” Jega stated.

He alleged that the network failure in Jega has persisted for nearly five months without any resolution, update, or official communication from the service provider.

The complainer further warned that failure to restore the service immediately would force the users to reconsider other multiple telecom providers such Glo, Airtel and 9mobile.
