Every performance had something for the audience who were fully engrossed. One hundred and seven thousand were physically present while twenty-two thousand were viewing online.

The crowd engagement was spectacular with the audience singing along and dancing to their most loved songs. For a town that does not usually hold late concerts, people were in awe as though the concert crept late into the night, the attendees did not budge as they stayed looking forward to the next act, with about one thousand people coming forward for the altar call.

Mallam Razphil’s “One More Soul Concert” brought together people of all ages and races and exceeded expectations in every way. It was an event not to be missed.

For the convener, this is only explainable as a blessing of the almighty and a reward of hard work “we prayed as we put the plans together, we know that God will bless the works of our hands, we went out without fear and God showed up for us” he “One More Soul” Concert, was truly inspirational and has created a strong impact in the music scene in northern Nigeria as a whole, as it shows the rewards of the herculean task of putting together a concert of this magnitude, in Arewa.

This task involved risk taking, having a team that believes in the vision, self-belief and over all faith in God. It is a reminder that nothing is impossible and that with consistency and constantly stretching ourselves, we can make our dreams a reality.

This music festival also confirms that, not only is there a great love of music in the North, but that there is huge potential for growth, with a willing and able audience available for all forms and styles of Arewa music.

This musical extravaganza that displayed the captivating, confident, inspirational and crowd engaging performance of Mallam Razphil, and his 20-man band, along with his unique style and excellent brand, portrays the fact that he is one of the greatest musical exports from Northern Nigeria, and is ready to take on the world.
