Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has congratulated distinguished sons and daughters of Plateau State who were recently elevated to higher ranks in the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air Force.
Governor Mutfwang, in a statement signed by his director of press and public affairs, Mr. Gyang Bere, expressed profound delight in their dedicated and selfless service to the nation, describing their steady rise in the Armed Forces as a testament to their professionalism, discipline, and commitment, and as a source of pride for Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.
The governor congratulated JIB Manjang, who has been promoted to the rank of Major General, as well as NN Gambo and MS Sule, who were both elevated to the rank of Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army.
He also celebrated the promotions of PP Nimyel to Rear Admiral and E. Bawa to Commodore in the Nigerian Navy. He lauded the promotion of AL Dakwat and SS Lazarus to the Rank of Air Vice Marshal in the Nigerian Air Force.
Governor Mutfwang expressed confidence that the newly promoted senior officers from Plateau State, alongside their distinguished colleagues across the country, will bring their wealth of experience, strategic insight, and patriotic zeal to bear in tackling the myriad of security challenges confronting the nation.
He urged them to continue upholding the enduring values of hard work, excellence, tolerance, peace, and empathy in their places of assignment, virtues that exemplify the true spirit of the Plateau heritage.
