Sensational Nollywood actor and film maker, Ibrahim Chatta has disclosed that he spent a whopping N1.4 billion to set up his film village located in Oyo Town, Oyo state.
The Yoruba versatile actor who has entertained movie lovers in several flicks, shared challenges he faced while developing his 74-acre film village.
Chatta in a recent video stated that he used N1.4 billion of his personal funds for the project without asking for loans or grants from financial bodies.
The film village, a cultural and production hub which has been opened for operations was designed to highlight traditional Yoruba architecture and cultural heritage, includes indigenous-style houses, animal stables, and more.
Chatta revealed that financial challenges extended the project’s completion time to four years.
