Teenagers at the N-Youth Sports Academy (N-YSA) are transforming the landscape of youth sports in Bwari by fostering teamwork, inclusion, and personal development.
Players aged 16 to 19 from N-YSA are making a significant impact at the Bwari centre, showcasing exceptional performances across multiple sports.
Enes Cayli, managing director of N-YSA, stated that the academy is dedicated to creating an environment where student-athletes can pursue their sporting passions at the highest level while prioritising their academic and personal growth.
“We believe in the power of sport to instil character, discipline, and resilience. Our scholarship programme is designed to eliminate financial and other barriers that might hinder talented athletes from achieving their full potential,” he explained.
The programme combines education and physical training in various sports, including football, basketball, taekwondo, athletics, swimming, gymnastics, and tennis, with athletes participating in rigorous training sessions at least six days a week.
Cayli emphasised the academy’s commitment to shaping the future of sports, providing a nurturing environment in which athletes can excel both on the pitch and in the classroom.
“Our scholarship programme is a fundamental aspect of this mission, ensuring that no gifted athlete is left behind due to financial or other challenges,” he added.
