NAF spokesman, AVM Olusola Akinboyewa, stated this in a statement on Thursday while reacting to a viral video on social media showing an altercation between some NAF personnel and police officers in Warri, Delta State, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

The video shows NAF personnel preventing the Police from arresting a suspect.

He stated that the incident had been decisively addressed and called for calm.

He said: “The Commander of the concerned NAF unit has engaged with the relevant Police authorities in Delta State to resolve the matter with a view to enhancing inter-agency understanding.
