NAHCON, LGAs Condoles Gov Idris Over Speaker’s Death

A high-powered delegation from the National High Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and people from Gwandu, Jega and Aleiro local government areas of Kebbi State have paid a condolence visit to Governor Nasir Idris over the recent death of the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Usman Zuru.

The delegation led by the commission’s  director of Administration and Human Resources, Aliyu Shitti, who represented the chairman of NAHCON, Ambassador Isma’il Abba Yusuf, described the speaker’s  death as a great loss which the entire hajj commission management and staff shared in the grief of the government and people of Kebbi State and prayed to Allah to forgive him and give the family and the state the fortitude to bear the loss.

Shutti also sympathised with the executive chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA), Faruku Musa Enabo, over the recent fire that razed his residence in the Tudun Wada area of the Birnin Kebbi metropolis.

Similarly,  people from Gwandu, Jega and Aleiro local government areas have paid similar condolences and sympathy visits to Governor Idris, on the demise of Zuru and the fire incident that engulfed the house of  Enabo.

The spokesperson of the people, Hon. Mansur Issah Danjami’a, a current member of the House of Representatives representing Gwandu, Aleiro and Jega, described the late Speaker as a man of integrity, honesty, humility, and a trusted leader whose legacies would not be easily forgotten.

He prayed to Allah to accept the good deeds of the deceased, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him Aljannar Firdausi.

Responding, Governor Nasir Idris expressed gratitude to the NAHCON delegation and people from Gwandu, Jega and Aleiro for the show of concern and solidarity over the loss and the unfortunate fire incident that recently happened in the state.
