Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has spoken candidly about her faith, describing herself as anything but a conventional Nigerian Christian.

In an interview with ‘Jay-on-air,’ Isime said she relies on personal intuition rather than pastoral guidance and feels no obligation to seek direction from any religious figure.

“I don’t serve mortals,” she said, adding that this frees her from any need to perform or conform for others. She emphasised that she prefers to develop her own understanding of God independently, while still drawing inspiration from select preachers she respects.
