National Sports Association for Judiciary (NASAJ) has concluded its long-awaited harmonised national election, putting an end to a protracted leadership crisis which began in 2024 when two rival factions emerged within the association.

The breakthrough came after an extraordinary congress session was convened, during which both factions were dissolved to pave the way for a unified leadership process. In that same session, a protem speaker was nominated and a new independent electoral committee was constituted to oversee fresh elections.

The harmonised election was held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Supreme Court in Abuja at about 10:00 a.m. The process was conducted under tight security and in the presence of representatives from the office of the Chief Registrar and the Director of Administration of the Supreme Court.

The newly elected officials were sworn in by the Commissioner of Oath, Zainab Kassim, Esq.

The following officers emerged unopposed, with no contestation or rancor from any quarters.
