During the operation, the police recovered a fabricated rifle, a knife, and criminal charms from the first group of suspects. Additionally, a blue Toyota Camry with the registration number RBC 980 DA was seized from Abubakar, who resided in the Mabushi area of Abuja.

DSP Nansel further revealed that the suspects have confessed to being part of a gang responsible for terrorising the Mararaba area and its surroundings.

In the statement, the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, urged the rightful owner of the stolen vehicle to visit the New Karu Area Command with proof of ownership to claim their property.
