The transformational tzar, Yusuf, who sits on the board of several companies and president of NASFAT was elected as NESG chairman board on Tuesday in Abuja to succeed Asue Ighodalo, a renowned corporate leader.

Also elected with him on the board of NESG are the chairman of Shell in Nigeria, Osagie Okunbor; the chief executive officer (CEO) of Flour Mills Nigeria, Boye Olusanya and the group chief operating officer (COO) of MRS Holdings Limited, Ms. Amina Maina as 1st, 2nd and 3rd vice-chairmen respectively.

Yusuf had previously served as vice chairman and the champion of the Science and Technology Policy Commission of NESG for many years.

NASFAT, in a statement signed by its general secretary, Gbenga Sunmonu, said the faith-based organisation was elated because Yusuf who is at present leading the society, has meritoriously served in affiliated organs in capacities which included board member of the Fountain University, Osogbo; pioneer chairman of HAVEK Leadership Academy; pioneer chairman of NASFAT Agency for Zakat and Sadaqat (NAZAS), vice president 1 of the society amongst others.
