The Nasrul‐Lahi‐il Fathi Society (NASFAT) has urged parents at home and abroad to continue prioritising the moral nurturing of their children to prevent future failure.
The call was made at the “Eid- el-Fitri” organised by the Nasrul‐Lahi‐il Fathi Society, Swansea Group, Wales, United Kingdom.
The chairman of the occasion, Mr Abdulfatai Omotunde, coordinator, NASFAT Swansea Group, in a statement made available to journalists in Lagos, congratulated all Muslim Ummah and members of NASFAT home and abroad for the successful completion of Ramadan and being amongst the living who celebrated the Eid together.
Omotunde noted that Ramadan removes many negative behaviours from mankind and turns everyone into a newborn. It’s important that we don’t return to these negative behaviours in our lives, he appealed.
The NASFAT Swansea Group coordinator urged all parents, at home and abroad, to prioritise the moral nurturing of their children for the purposes of peace, happiness, love, growth and a better society.
He stressed that the formation of a reflection of the world begins at home, which almighty Allah has entrusted to parents as the first teachers; a child listens to and follows the characters he or she grows up with, and it’s the end product that society receives.
Omotunde further stressed that the challenges of moral failure rampant abroad further put more commitment on all parents to ensure that their children are properly shaped for the guaranteed peace, unity, happiness, love and comfort of everyone and the society
