The National Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI), Jigawa State Chapter, has congratulated Governor Malam Umar Namadi on being conferred with the prestigious “Governor of the Year 2024” merit award by the renowned Leadership Newspapers. The recognition coincides with his 62nd birthday anniversary.

This was contained in a press statement issued by Comrade Dallami Haladu Shuaibu, secretary of NASSI’s Jigawa State Chapter.

The association described the award as a testament to Governor Namadi’s pragmatic leadership, which continues to inspire and serve as a beacon of hope for a more prosperous and greater Jigawa.

They commended the governor for his outstanding performance in planning and development, noting that he has not only transformed the state’s landscape but also elevated standards of living and human capital development.

According to NASSI, his remarkable achievements have made them proud, and this recognition is a well-deserved affirmation of his exemplary leadership.

“Additionally, the ‘Good Governance’ award conferred on you by another reputable media outlet, Vanguard Newspaper, further cements your reputation as a role model and a leader par excellence. We are confident that your stewardship will continue to foster peace, progress, and prosperity in our beloved state.

“Your efforts in promoting transparency, empowerment initiatives, humanitarian services, and human capital development have not only improved individual lives but have also significantly contributed to the state’s overall progress and prosperity,” the statement revealed.

The statement further highlighted how Governor Namadi’s interventions have empowered NASSI members and spurred the growth of hundreds of small and medium enterprises in Jigawa State. These enterprises have, in turn, generated thousands of job opportunities.

“We are proud to be associated with you and remain confident that your leadership will continue to bring prosperity, peace, and progress to our dear state.

“On this auspicious occasion, coinciding with your 62nd birthday, we congratulate you on this well-deserved accolade,” the statement added.

NASSI also prayed that Almighty Allah grant the governor greater wisdom, strength, and good health as he continues his unwavering commitment to building a greater Jigawa State.
