Ihima town is located in the southwestern part of Kogi, bordering Ondo and Edo, and serves as a stop for travellers heading to the north, west, and southern states.

The proposed hospital will not only serve the indigenous people of Ihima but also cater to Nigerians who may require medical assistance due to vehicular mishaps along the Akoko Edo and Akoko Ondo axis.
