Ibor, who made the assertion during a familiarisation tour to the Akwa Ibom Directorate, explained that the essence was to appraise and gain firsthand information of operations towards achieving the agency’s mandate in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda (RHA) of the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government for the country’s overall development.

LEADERSHIP learnt that the visit afforded the Zonal Director an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the functioning of the Directorate, elicit feedback on the existing challenges and milestones achieved, and explore avenues for innovation and improvement.

Welcoming the zonal director to Akwa Ibom, the state director, Mr. Mkpoutom Mkpoutom, praised the leadership of Mallam Lanre Isa Onilu, the director-general of the agency, commending his visionary approach and dedication to the growth of the NOA since the current administration took office.

He emphasised that the staff should remain motivated and optimistic under the guidance of the DG, who has consistently demonstrated integrity and passion in steering the agency towards its mission of societal development.
