For the School of Environmental Studies, the accredited programmes are ND in Quantity Surveying and Estate Management and Evaluation.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Professor Mohammed Sanusi Magaji, expressed gratitude to the NBTE for the accreditation, stating that the development reflects the Polytechnic’s adherence to high standards of education and its commitment to producing competent graduates who will contribute positively to Kano State and the nation’s socio-economic development.

Professor Magaji further stressed that the accreditation was a testament to the hard work and resilience of the staff, as well as the continuous support from the government and other stakeholders.

He reassured students, parents, and the general public that Federal Polytechnic Kabo will continue to strive for excellence in all its academic endeavours.

LEADERSHIP reports that this is the first time in the history of Nigerian polytechnics that an institution has had 17 programmes accredited at inception.
