It is a significant and veritable platform for proposing, fine-tuning, and adopting strategies to position the sector as sustainable and a significant contributor to the nation’s GDP growth. Furthermore, the Culture and Creative Economy Summit provides the necessary ambiance for synergy, information exchange, and robust participation. The ultimate objective of the meeting is to elevate the culture and creative economy sector as a major alternative revenue source for the country.

The communique noted that effective funding of cultural activities is central to improved strategies for cultural promotion and presentation.

It stated that all states should embrace the application of information technology to serve as a catalyst for e-commerce, content creation, and storytelling, thereby establishing the creative side of the cultural sector.
