The Centre for the Study of Leadership and Complex Military Operations at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna has named Stanley Ekpa, an Abuja-based lawyer and leadership consultant, as a Senior Leadership Advisor and Research Fellow.
In a letter dated November 20th, Dr BJ Audu, the Head of the Centre, highlighted the significance of Ekpa’s role in providing insights and timely policy advice to achieve the institution’s established mandate.
“The Centre for the Study of Leadership and Complex Military Operations, the Nigerian Defence Academy’s hub for leadership research and strategic thinking, is pleased to appoint you as a Research Fellow and a Senior Leadership Advisor.
“As a Senior Leadership Advisor, your role involves offering technical expertise, informed insights, and timely policy advice on matters related to leadership, security, and development, contributing to national development.
“As a Research Fellow, Ekpa is expected to bring leading-edge thinking, contribute to scholarly research, and ensure evidence-based approaches in his methodologies.
“The Centre, mandated for research and serving as a think tank factory, focuses its research, lectures, and publications on leadership, complex military operations, development, and national security,” the letter reads.
Stanley Ekpa holds a Master’s degree in Leadership Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy, a Master’s in Political Economy, and a law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University. He attended the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS)’s Policy, Strategy, and Leadership Course in 2021.
