Addressing journalists in Lagos chairman of conference of 57 chairman of Ndigbo in APC in Lagos Chima Ukwandu noted that there are moves to divide  the group, by some politicians  who are sponsoring wrong information to achieve their objective, noting that  the group will not  give in to selfish ambition of  some  leaders   who want to destabilise the organisation for their selfish interest.

He, however, urged the group not to be distracted  or discouraged by information or rumours  going around by some leaders but should maintain their   objective of   winning  elections for the All Progressive Congress APC and produce the next president for Nigeria.

Ukwandu wondered why the division in the Ndigbo leadership in the APC when it is just five months to the general elections, noting that it is a distraction from some disgruntled elements that do not want the party to succeed.
