NDLEA Officers Arrested For Fatally Shooting Teenager To Death In Kano

Two operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kano State have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old Patience Samuel in Jaba Quarters of Kano.

The tragic incident, which occurred on Wednesday night at about 10:55pm, was first reported by counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama on his X platform. His report indicated that a team from the Kano State Police Command responded to the scene and evacuated Patience to Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead.

The officers, identified as Nass Ridwan Usman, 23, and Sna Ismaila Yakubu, 26, wsre attached to the NDLEA’s Kano State headquarters.

According to Makama, an operational motorcycle, a live round of ammunition, four empty shells of 7.62×51mm ammunition, and two knives were recovered from the suspects.

LEADERSHIP reports that neither the NDLEA nor the Police have released any official statement regarding the incident.
