National Examination Council (NECO), has automated its posting procedures to give room for equity for posting of staff for its examination duties.

Launching the E- Posting platform yesterday in Minna, after releasing the 2023 external Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), results, the registrar/chief executive of the council, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi said posting of staff in the past was subject to sentiment.
He said those who felt they were not posted for examination duties more often have advanced reasons bordering on religious and ethnic sentiments.

Wushishi said to end that trend, the council is launching the E-posting platform to schedule posting for assignments, in order to carry everybody along.

The registrar said the council will continue to adopt new innovations to make exam administration of the council easier and in line with best world’s practices.

He said the council has brought various kinds of Innovations which will be sustained by those who will come after the present management because those who were victims of the disparity in the past are now part of the management team.
