Netflix Releases Trailer For Kunle Afolayan’s Ijogbon

A Kunle Afolayan film, Ijogbon (Chao), is set to premiere on Netflix on October 13, 2023, twelve days after Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration.

NetflixNaija released the movie trailer on social media platform X, on Friday.

In the teenage thriller, chaos is unleashed upon a quiet, sleepy town, when four teenage friends discover a pouch of diamonds.

Ijogbon was shot in the KAP Film Village and Resort in Itesiwaju Local Government Arae of Oyo State, where some scenes of the Afolayan’s films Jagun Jagun and Anikulapo were shot.

It features cast members; Oluwaseyi Ebiesuwa, Kayode Junior Ojuolape, Fawa Aina of Ikorodu Boiz, and Ruby Akubueze as the four teenagers, alongside familiar faces as Gabriel Afolayan, Adunni Ade, Yemi Solade, Dorothy Bachor and Bolaji Amusan.
