A police officer received instant ‘healing’ during a live service at Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, led by popular televangelist Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, after suffering an unusual medical affliction that left his tongue unnaturally protruding from his mouth.
The dramatic moment, which was captured in a video and has gone viral on social media, showed the visibly distressed officer struggling as his tongue hung uncontrollably from his mouth.
Witnesses described the scene as both humbling and faith-boosting. Congregants erupted in praise, shouting and weeping in awe at the visible demonstration of God’s power.
As Prophet Fufeyin approached the police officer during the service, the congregation grew still.
In a calm yet commanding prayer, the prophet declared healing in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding the officer’s tongue to return to normal.
Within moments, a visible change occurred as the officer’s tongue slid back into his mouth. Overwhelmed with emotion, he broke into tears of gratitude, while worshippers erupted into joyful celebration, shouting and weeping in awe.
“This is beyond science. This is the hand of God! Prophet Jeremiah is truly anointed for this generation,” an eyewitness exclaimed in the video.
The miraculous event has stirred widespread mixed reactions online, especially among Christian communities who regard it as a testament to the power of divine healing, and scrutiny from skeptics.
Among them is controversial social commentator, Verydarkman (VDM), who questioned the authenticity of the miracle and suggested it was staged.
However, in a short remark after the service, Prophet Fufeyin redirected all praise to God, “This is not me. It is Jesus Christ working through me. All glory belongs to God. The church is a hospital, and God is the Chief Surgeon.”
