The newly deployed Permanent Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Works, Mr. Yakubu Kofarmata, has pledged to adopt new innovations in the Ministry towards achieving President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in infrastructural development.
He made the pledge in his remark after signing and receiving the handover notes from his predecessor in the Ministry.
Kofarmata said the ministry would deploy new innovation, especially in road construction and rehabilitation for ease of doing business in all sectors of the Nigerian economy.
In a statement by the Ministry’s Director of Information Lere-Adams A. B., the new Permanent Secretary was extremely glad to be back to the Ministry, having served previously in the Ministry as an Assistant Director.
Kofarmata was particularly delighted seeing a good number of female leaders and architects still present in the Ministry.
The Perm Sec added that it was an indication that the Ministry of Works is a place that can bring the needed change in the country.
He said, “I come here as a brother, friend and colleague and so we have to work together to help the President as well as the Honourable Minister to achieve all that they have spelt out in their agenda.”
He further expressed optimism that his leadership would be a new beginning that would bring about innovation for the Ministry and the country at large.
