The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has revealed that Coach Salisu Yusuf and Nduka Ugbade are no longer on the payroll of the Federation.

This is coming after weeks of speculations on the future of the coaches following the failure of their teams.

Salisu Yusuf’s Dream Team failed to qualify for the U-23 African Cup of Nations, meaning they won’t be part of the next Olympics games football event.

Ugbade’s Golden Eaglets also crashed out of the U17 African Cup of Nations in the last eight, costing Nigeria, five-time World Champions, a place at the next World Cup.

Speaking on the two coaches, Gusau said the contracts were tied to the competitions, failure to achieve results means they no longer have a job with the Federation.
