“It is what we do best. We have equipped over 500 poor pupils from across rural Imo communities with one full academic year school kit including shoes, notebooks, textbooks, and others. They received books and other learning materials to support their education.

“C-EDU’s back to school project is an ongoing project. It will end when all pupils in Nigeria and Africa have adequate learning materials.

“Our education management and service initiative seeks to achieve quality, inclusive and affordable primary education delivery in Nigeria through a combination of project and market based approaches.

“To support our B2S project or to partner with C-EDU in anyway, please call:+234 704 600 7185 or email [email protected]. You can also visit our site: cedu.csaaeinc.org “, he said.

Speaking, Metu thanked the CSAAE for their humanitarian assistance and promised that the Government would continue to provide the enabling environment with good governance initiatives to support such efforts.

Head Mistress of the Umueze Community Primary School, Mrs Chinyere Onuegbu, decried the paucity of teachers in the school and poor remuneration of teachers.

She, however, expressed the hope that given the recent upward review of the state’s minimum wage, teachers would heave a sigh of relief upon its implementation.

C-Edu’s programme officer, Miss Blessing Bodunde described the project as reflective of her lifelong passion – ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to quality education.

“Especially in rural communities like this, no child should be denied the chance to learn simply because they lack basic school materials.

“Today, we are not only giving out kits, but also giving hope. We are telling every child here: your dreams are valid, and we believe in your future.

“I sincerely appreciate our partners, community leaders, parents, and everyone who has supported this vision. Your commitment makes it possible for these children to sit in class with dignity and confidence.

“And let me say—this is only the beginning. This is Project 1.0; with your continued support, there will be a 2.0, 3.0, and many more. Who knows? The next one might even be in my own village in Ekiti State! “, she enthused.

One of the beneficiaries, Miss Ojiaku- Deborah Ngozichukwu, a Basic 4 pupil of Mmahu Community School, Ohaji-Egbema thanked the CSAAE for providing her with academic support and promised to justify the confidence reposed in her by being more studious.
