The chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), Kunle Ahmed, is set to speak about the fusion of insurance and technology to enhance insurance penetration in the country.
As a guest of honour for the highly anticipated IMT 4.0 Conference, scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Lagos, the CEO of AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, joins a high-powered lineup of leaders from key insurance institutions, who have now confirmed their participation in the leading conference.
Insurance Meets Tech (IMT) is West Africa’s platform for converging insurance and technology innovations, colloquium, and discourse on policy environment and operational efficiencies.
Kunle Ahmed, also the CEO of AXA Mansard Insurance, joins a high-powered lineup of leaders from key insurance institutions who have confirmed their participation in the leading conference.
They include: the president of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Prince Babatunde Oguntade; president and chairman of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Yetunde Olubunmi Ilori; the president of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA), Abimbola Onakomaiya, and most importantly, the commissioner for Insurance/chief executive officer, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Olusegun Ayo Omosehin.
The convener of Insurance Meet Tech (IMT) and CEO of Modion Communications, Odion Aleobua, warmly welcomed Ahmed, saying, “Having the chairman of NIA on board is a monumental buildup to this event. The 2025 edition of Insurance Meets Tech will feature Per Lagerström from South Africa as the Headline Speaker. He is a global thought leader in insurtech, behavioural science, and innovation.
